MLA was commissioned by the Nutrilite Division of Amway International to make an empty lot in front of their distribution center “look presentable” for the company’s 50th anniversary celebration, to be attended by dignitaries from all over the world. The result is an award winning design that incorporated plant species used in the company’s signature health supplements as well as other flowering, low water use succulents and shrubs. Set in concentric arcs of decomposed granite radiating from the building’s face, this seasonally changing landscape set in an empty lot now provides a stunning “front yard” for the Nutrilite Corporation.
