Within the city of Mission Viejo lies the new apartment community of Los Alisos. What was once a tired and vacant retail box, is now a high-density ‘wrap’ apartment complex with a multi-level garage at its heart and seven courtyards at it’s perimeter. UDR enlisted the services of MLA to develop numerous outdoor uses and spaces to encourage residents to live outdoor and encourage interaction. The project includes two pools, spa, bar counter and water feature, various courtyard water features, bocce ball court, tot-lot, community garden and numerous banquet seats with firepits. UDR is positioning the project to be LEED certified.
